Rajasthan is located in the Thar desert which is the 7th largest desert in the world and also consists of saltwater lakes. Moreover, Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan and Jaipur is well known as the pink city due to pink colored constructions of palaces and buildings.

There are many beautiful tourist attractive places such as, Hawa Mahal, city palace which is built in the 18th century and Amer fort which was built in the 17th century and it is most prominently visited by tourists all over the world.

Hawa Mahal is a palace in Jaipur, it is named Hawa mahal because it was essentially a high screen wall built with the ancient art of architecture, the main reason for the construction of Hawa mahal is for the woman who belongs to the royal family could observe the street festivals while unseen from outside.

City Palace is near to Hawa mahal with walking distance and it includes a Chand Mahal and Mubarak Mahal. The main attraction in City Palace is 4 gates named as Peacock gate, Lotus gate, Green gate and Rose gate being famed for architecture design referring several god and goddess. The Peacock Gate is dedicated to Lord Vishnu where he is seated on the peacock on the top side of the gate and it also motifs of peacocks. On the other hand, the lotus gate has been more attractive with a petal pattern dedicated to Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati and on the top of the gate goddess, Laxmi seated on the flower of lotus.

The green gate located near to lotus gate dedicated to the god Ganesha while it is noticed is that the god Ganesha has been seated in center axis on top of the gate with waves structured designs whilst the rose gate too bears attractive which is dedicated to goddess Devi and it also represents the season winter with different patterns.

Amer Fort which is situated in amber near Jaipur it is a gorgeous tourist destination in India and also well known top-rated fort in India. A special attraction is Sheesh Mahal, the mirror palace built by the king for resting purpose-designed with the usage of thousands of pieces of mirrors. Panna Meena Ka Kund an ancient stepwell of Rajasthan located near to Amer fort built using Amer for restoring water.
